We periodically hold brainstorming meetings and have found these to be very popular. Those attending have found them informative and helpful, full of different investors' opinions and valuable advice. Members and guests share their good successes and bad disasters and help each other to do things right the first time (hopefully) and to avoid pitfalls. This interaction is valuable, especially if you are new to real estate investing.

Bring your experiences to answer other’s questions and bring your questions that others may provide answers.

Some ideas for discussion can be, but are not limited to: tenant problems, i.e., notices to evict or cure; collecting money during eviction; rehabbing a house to retail-ready condition; repair or re-roof; should the kitchen stay or go; preventing a/c theft; experiences with options; marketing to sell quickly; foreclosures / short sales; contractors; code enforcement; and much more.
